The PRAC (Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee) agreed on Direct Healthcare Professional Communications (DHPCs) for the following safety issues:
- A small increased risk of meningioma associated with current, prolonged use of desogestrel- and etonogestrel-containing contraceptive medicines.
- A warning on the potential risk of serious side effects with Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor Litfulo.
